Sunday was Valentine's Day, and Hiram stunned Liz by buying her a puppy:

Yes, two days later, the puppy is all that remains... Hiram certainly knows the way to his wife's heart. Though, in Liz's defense, Hiram helped dispose of the chocolate.

Tuesday, February 16th, was our TWO YEAR wedding anniversary. And the THREE YEAR anniversary of our first date. The three of us went to The Old Spaghetti Factory and ate to our heart's content.

Because Liz still works an eight-hour shift each Saturday, Hiram gets to play mom during that time. Let's talk about Hiram's last "shift."

1. Bethany sucked on the sharper end of a pen, and she poked the roof of her mouth a little too hard. She started bleeding (and screaming, of course!) Ouch!

2. She was army crawling around the living room while Hiram was texting. He looked up, and two of her little fingers were reaching right into an electrical outlet! He ran over and pulled her away in the nick of time- and then ran her over to Lowe's to get some outlet covers.

3. Bethany was playing in the bathroom with him, and she bonked her head on the hard floor. And started screaming.
