Cousin mania

We got to see lots of cousins this month. For Cousin Matthew's first birthday party, we got together at a park, played, and ate food. And it was great timing, since Cherie and kids were in town from Idaho- they are so fun!

Bethany loved the slide ("sie") with Aunt Martha. And throwing dirt, as evidenced by her pants.

The Birthday Boy with his OJ mustache.

Martha, Hunter, and Julianna eat some hot dogs.

Sadie, Trae, a headless Cherie (oops!), Baby Natalie, and Bethany. And the really yummy carrot cake.

And then, of course, there was Halloween. Mary and Craig threw a party at their house. There were some pretty fun costumes.

Mary decided not to dress up this year. [Witchy cackle] Just kidding Mary.

Mary's little dragon. And Bethany running away from this perfect photo op.

Here's another attempt at a picture of Bethany. She just kept moving! And snorting! She really got into character:)

And my favorite costume of the night... Mike! Or should I say Michelle?

Want to see that again?

Happy Halloween!

Roofers for Hire

Always ready for a project, Hiram decided to replace our partially rotten roof. The joys of home ownership... Some really nice friends (with experience at this type of thing) helped us immensely. "Hiram, when will you fix the roof again?" "Never."

Liz was obviously made for construction.

Words of wisdom from Bethany:

Oatmeal tastes so much better when I eat it with my hands.

Swimming underwear works much better on my head than on my bottom.

See?

Never let your parents dress you.

Mommy C Comes to Town

Liz's mom flew out to Utah around the beginning of October. We had some fun times.

Three generations of Corson women

Bethany warmed up to her grandma a little better this time. See the progression:

Day two

Day five: smiley face

We took a little hike near Bridal Veil falls. So fun!
The falls. (Bethany obviously liked them!)

John, Amy, Sam, and Mom

Bethany, Liz, and Sam
John kept trying to make Bethany smile by doing bizarre faces. He wouldn't let me capture these on camera, though, despite my sneaky tactics. This is the best I could get. And Sam favored us with some dance moves from Batman, which were also enjoyed by all. Again, not on camera...
